Frozen

Today was the last Pearl Street market here in Denver. I was not hopeful about it, but I figured if I was going, I was going to do it up.

So, I did. I brought everything I usually do, plus two pre-orders, all the fall decor, and our fog machine. The fog machine has a skull head with red light-up eyes, and he belches the fog out of his mouth. I put this under the table, near the front. The switch reached all the way under the tables and up to the top, where I was standing. It was hilarious fun to watch the children--I would press the button when they were walking my way. Of course, they ran over when they saw the spooky fog, shouting, "Cool!" and "Scary!"

They would then stand there, expectantly, waiting for it to belch again. Many thought that it worked on a motion sensor--they would kick their feet in front of it, or pace back and forth. Too funny! Dogs would jump when the fog came out, too, of course.

This activity brought folks to my booth. I was amazed at just how many people were at the market today, in costume! It was our Halloween festival day, but it was snowing, and below 40 degrees the entire time. It was way busier than I had anticipated, which is nice. Glad I went!
