Why did I do it? Why? Because I love my kid, that's why.
Tomorrow is the "Harvest Festival" at her school, complete with costumes, games, pumpkin launches, pumpkin sales, bake sales, games, face painting, and as much frivolity as can be mustered in that environment.
Which is a lot.
I signed up for pumpkin sales, from 3:45-4:15. We are making costume arrangements now. Yikes!

I think it's wonderful that you volunteered your time. It's something your child will remember in the future and something tells me it will be blog fodder!
