You, too, can twitter. I don't quite know how I'm going to use it, yet, but it's interesting.

You write very short posts. Others can follow your posts. My username there is: soapcrone .

Twitter is based on the following question: what are you doing?

I find it a little strange, still, but I'm willing to give it a try. It's another way to keep in touch. Or to write what I call "flash poetry." I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Are you willing?

  1. You're all a-twitter!

I've thought about doing it, but I don't have unlimited texting. Plus, it's hard enough to make my life sound even mildly interesting in a blog post or two a day. Do you really want to see "Drinking coffee now!" "Driving to work!" "Picking up dog poop!" ?

Maybe I'll sign up and try it for a few days ... you may be begging for mercy.

  2. I would LOVE to hear about your dog's poop.

Mostly, I have been posting little haiku-like statements, from my computer. I am not into the text messages, as they are too expensive for little ol' me.

  3. It's nice to know I am in good company. I thought I was the last person on the planet who pays for every text message. And you can't opt to not receive a text message, unlike a phone call! Dang!

I'm on twitter but never use it. I did log in yesterday after ages. I don't even know my own username there. Will log in and add you folks. I am on facebook which I use a little bit more than twitter. I am also on LinkedIn. It's all about who has more contacts than you.

  4. Oh and Amy, will you be doing the Boulder / Longmont Farmer's Market this year? Or just the Louisville Street faire?

  5. I will be doing neither Boulder nor Louisville this year. I may come visit them, but Boulder is too expensive to vend, and Louisville wasn't enough return on my money. Not necessarily expensive, but just not enough money to make it worth the effort.

So I'll see you there, but just to hang out. How about that?

  6. Manisha, come down to the Pearl Street Market. You don't get to The Big City enough.

OK, I'm signed up on Twitter. And I put it on my blog.

  7. I'm a wimp when it comes to freeways and interchanges. But I think I could take a bus, right?

The Boulder Farmer Market starts this coming Saturday. And from what I read on the Pearl Street Market's site, it will open in June. So if you ladies are willing to consider a trip to Boulder, I will haul myself out of bed early on a Saturday just for you. :-D How's that sound?

  8. jeez...i wanna go but i'm here and you're there.
