  5. Homemade hand soaps are truly scrumptious. We sold specialty candles, and homemade hand soaps seem to have the same attention to quality and pure ingredients.

If one can afford it, handsoaps are the way to go!

  6. I enjoy handmade soap, particularly soap from the Soap Crone, because I like to support local businesses. Not only is this soap locally made, it is made with ingredients I am familiar with, unlike store bought mass produced soap that is filled with synthetic this and chemical that. The scents are refreshing and compliments from many women friends have been made regarding my freshness. This is why I enjoy handmade soap.

  7. Handmade soap is typically gentler and more natural than the mass produced stuff.

It feels good to support local artisans and take care of yourself at the same time.

Purchasing quality bath and body products makes sense - it may be more expensive initially...

However, one will most likely save in the long run - dermatologists are quite costly!

  8. Smooth, creamy, nice (not overpowering) scent, and I can get it in any flavor I want. What's not to love?

  9. I love homemade soap because it was the perfect gift to give my mother who had everything. She liked old-fashioned lye soap to wash my dad's white socks. It cleaned better than any commercial soap and it repelled ticks and chiggers when he worked in the timber. I grated it and she used it like any other laundry soap.
