The Oxford Project--in stores now!

It's here! The Oxford Project, an experiment in art, photography, and humanity, is available in bookstores everywhere. In 1984, Peter Feldstein set out to photograph every resident of Oxford, Iowa, and display the photos. He did so, and put the slides away.

In 2005, he set out to do it again. This book shows the residents 20 years apart, along with text that tells their story, in their words. It is a reminder to everyone that, no matter where you are from or who you are, we are all just people, trying to live our lives. Our troubles are all shared, and everyone is going through a great struggle.

In New York City. In Memphis. In Springfield. And in Oxford, Iowa.

Go buy it, if you know what's good for your soul. If you can't afford it, demand your library purchase it. It's a glimpse into yourself.
